Secure & private

256-bit encryption. We never sell your personal information.

Ranked by total cost

Offers are ordered by total repayment, so the best deal rises to the top.

Nothing hidden

Every offer shows APR, fees, monthly payment and payoff date up front.

Step by step

From first question to funded loan

1. Tell us your goal

Choose debt consolidation or a personal loan and the amount you need ($1,000–$100,000). Takes under a minute.

2. Share a few details

Income, housing, estimated credit and contact details. This lets lenders estimate your rate.

3. Compare your options

See estimated APR, monthly payment, term and total cost side by side, lowest total cost first.

4. Choose a lender

Pick the offer that fits. You’re sent to that lender to finish their application.

5. Final underwriting

The lender verifies your information, may run a hard credit check, and gives a final decision.

6. Get funded

Sign the loan agreement. Funds go to your bank — or, with some lenders, straight to your creditors.

What information you’ll need

Have these ready to move quickly. You won’t be asked for your Social Security number until a lender needs it to verify your identity.

About you

Full name, date of birth, home address, email and mobile number.

Your finances

Annual income before taxes, how often you’re paid, housing status and your total unsecured debt.

Your goal

Loan amount, purpose, education and employment status, and an estimate of your credit.

During final underwriting, the lender may also ask for pay stubs, bank statements, tax returns or a photo ID.

How direct creditor payoff works

For debt consolidation, some lenders will send your loan funds straight to your credit card companies — so the balances are paid without you having to move the money yourself.

  1. 1

Choose a lender that offers direct pay

  2. 2

List each card account and payoff amount

  3. 3

The lender pays those creditors at funding

  4. 4

Any remainder is deposited to your bank

Keep making minimum payments until each card shows a $0 balance, which can take a few business days.
